BSN Group Hosts Launch Event for Burslem Market Restoration Project

BSN Group was proud to host the official launch event for the much-anticipated Burslem Market project in Stoke-on-Trent on Friday 1st May, marking an important milestone for the local community.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Stoke MP David Williams, Historic England, project partners, and members of the local community. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the progress made so far and share the vision for the future of this iconic building.

Guests enjoyed an engaging and welcoming atmosphere, with refreshments, guided tours of the site, and the chance to see first-hand the early stages of transformation, including scaffolding now installed within the building. The event highlighted the strong sense of collaboration driving the project forward and the shared ambition to restore Burslem Market to its former prominence.

With a project value of £3.6 million, the scheme will be delivered over the course of 12 months, involving skilled heritage craftspeople dedicated to preserving the building’s historic character. Once complete, the redevelopment will breathe new life into Burslem Market, creating a vibrant and accessible space for the community to enjoy once again.

There is a real sense of momentum behind the project, and BSN Group is excited to move into the next phase as works officially commence on site.
